Michael, Sidnie and I met up for some June skiing this Tuesday. We got short laps below the Yakima Peak saddle (ran some sluffs on the upper part, pronounced sliding layer) and on the W shoulder of Naches Peak bowls. There were lots of pinwheels, and what looked like 2 skier-triggered slides. The turns were pretty mushy with recent rain and about an inch of new, but skied fine with some grabs. The rain started just before 1:30, so we skidaddled.
165 months of TAY for me; thanks guys for being the first June ski partners I've had after several years of solo tours 😁
