Cache + Wright

Started Sunday morning with nice weather. Went up the thumb tack toward north slope of chair. Dropped toward the cache. Went to the not yet in upper entrance and then backtracked. Dropped into cache. Weird snow up high, great pow in the apron. 

Headed out to Wright after. Thought about oyster, but opted to drop north east into the middle fork. So good. Went lower than anticipated. Then did it again. 

Skied back to the lake when it got cold and windy. Sensory deprivation skinning back. 

Tried to connect over to one of the great old growth runs closer to Mt Snoqualmie, but stopped at significant evidence of wind deposited snow with a few episodes of shooting cracks. 

Skied the fun zone back to the lake, then back over and out. 

Fun day. Huge range of weather.

We had good stability, but were quite cautious of wind slab. I believe this was the day 6 people were buried crossing the high T out Nash gate.
