KJ and I went out with low expectations last stormy Saturday at WA Pass but found decent corn in Cedar Creek and even nabbed the North Couloir of Big Kang in deep, dry, graupel snow! Two tracks were already in it. Climbing up it was extremely hard, wallowing waist deep. Definitely easier to drop in from the top, but we were on the backside. It was a full on blizzard by the time we got back to WA Pass!
Conditions are pretty fat and unconsolidated up there still. Tons of snow to play with, but the snowpack is not spring like yet.
