Surprise! Tour skiing is nearly perfect right now. I went up to the upper parking lot expecting war with the snow. But there is a real 9" of fluff well bonded to a solid (but not icy) base, and it's great skiing. Cold enough that blue extra or equivalent wax works very well.
Nice.... saw some snow in the cascades from the w sea bridge this afternoon. How was the debris factor?
