The chute is still open for business. Short stretch of rocks at entry, and at moraine. The surface a bit uneven as legacy of earlier wet slabs, and lightly sun cupped, but eminently skiable. Not a as good as Paradise glacier, but a nice option for an afternoon ski from Paradise. Sorry, my camera malfunctioned.
Skied the chute yesterday. (Friday)
Skiing this August makes this our (Carl & Tara) first time skiing year round!

Thanks guys, for the info and the pictures.
In the 15 - 20 years that I've been skiing that line I have never skied it in August. I have skied it in July in much worse shape that what it shows in Carl's pictures. What a great snow year :)
