After last weeks expedition I was seeking more turns closer to home for less effort. Still pretty good turns to be had off of the trail but the snow is melting fast!

I see you have beefier skis to go with your shorter approach.

Should be plenty of snow for turns in the Basin but pretty mellow skiing.....a good mixed climb. A loop around to Lillian Lake might be interesting if you have a couple days. Definitely bring a whippet or an axe for traversing those north facing snow slopes in the am.
