Ski Safari 2019 phase two started with my super good fortune to ski on Diamond Peak with David, John, and Lisa. Local knowledge from their many trips to this hidden gem gave us perfect corn off the sub summit to within five minutes of the car. We skipped the main summit due to 15-20mph winds that kept the SW slopes firm. Once again it's not what you know, it's who you know! Thanks friends.
Ed and I harvested some delicious sweet corn in Crystal Lakes dropping in from the Bench. In prime shape. Lots of spontaneous wet slide activity below cornices and point releases.
