Yeah I agree. Thanks for the sympathy Larry's sister- I wanted to try a moderately steep slope and tried to turn too gradual. My uphill ski dipped under and I twisted as I fell. I expect I would've been fine if I was using a releasable binding. I guess I shouldn't have attempted something so steep as I am still learning. I would have faired better if I would have tried a more direct downhill route, but I get a little nervous when I am going fast. I've done similar sloes with these skiis under spring conditions and also with lighter snow. I feel stupid now for attempting it!

I have a cabin reserved in southwestern Oregon this month that I won't be able to use now, but my real frustration is I am unable to help my wife much with our new son. (I may need to see about offering the cabin to another group if my buddy doesn't want to go there without me.)

A new thread about releasable vs non releasable would be a good idea.

MT.Bud beside helping out with the new baby (what a chance to bond with the little guy!) the best thing you can to do help speed the healing is.
Tape your credit card to the computer screen and buy some new ski stuff, Perhaps releaseable bindings for a start ?
