I'd like to buy a Pieps 457 Opti 4 - originally produced in 1991 and discontinued in 2006.
In particular I'm looking for the updated 1998 version, which featured 4 lights that corresponded to gradually louder volume at each distance setting.
This was my first beacon in 1998 - ironically, I may have sold it here in 2003 or 2004.
I'd like one now to show my avalanche classes and to display in my office. I promise it won't be used for any life saving application - just demonstration and nostalgia purposes.
It doesn't even need to function - I have friends in the industry who are quite willing to repair one of these to working order, knowing what I intend to do with it.
