WTB: xc touring skis for new skier was created by philolympics
Hi, I'm a new convert to skiing after going on my first xc trip in north idaho. I'm looking for a simple crosscountry setup to be able to do some off-track logging roads skiing and to go over some small ups & downs but nothing fancy! Trying to get more of a taste before working my way up to telemark or alpine backcountry skiing and I'm itching to explore more of the Olympics and the nw this winter
I'm not entirely sure I even know what I'm looking for, but research tells me that I want something in the range of metal-edge, ~170-180cm x ~60-70mm, waxless fishscale crossountry skis. I'm open to whatever kind of bindings. I am a shoe size 10.5 but probably planning on buying new boots. If you have some old skis that fit this match, I'm interested!
Thanks,
philip
