For sale is a Mammut Light Protection 3.0 airbag pack. This is the most recent update with the full protection airbag designed to reduce trauma. Pack is brand new, never used, never deployed. 30L capacity. Full specs available here- www.mammut.com/us/en/p/2610-01320-00150/...rotection-airbag-30/. Saphire (blue) color.

Also includes Mammut’s pro helmet holder- www.mammut.com/us/en/p/2530-00230-0001/helmet-holder-pro/. Useful if you like to carry a helmet on the back of your pack.

Note: does not include cylinder.

I'd like to get $600  500 for it - that's quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else I'm seeing online right now, but let me know if you think that price is out of line.

Sorry, read the note again and answered my first question. Does this use the Ortovox cartridge?

Hmm, good question. I know it uses Mammut cartridges or canisters- it can use the single use carbon ones available in Europe or the refillable aluminum ones found here. I’ll be honest in that I’m not sure if it’s the same as ortovox. I don’t think so, but can’t say for certain. I know that it is compatible with both the 2.0 and 3.0 Mammut aluminum canisters, so if you had a previous gen Mammut pack it can use the same cylinders.

I unfortunately don’t have a canister to take a photo of. You can see some pretty good pictures of one here -  www.backcountry.com/mammut-refillable-ra...YWlyYmFnIHN5c3RlbQ==

The attachment to the bag is threaded - see included photo.

I have an ortovox pack and cartridge so will just get a larger volume one of those. Yours is advertised on Campsaver at 579 FYI

Cool, no worries.

The one on Campsaver is the light removable airbag. Mammut has two lines of airbags - RAS (Removable Airbag System) and PAS (Protection Airbag System)...despite the fact that they're both removable... but I digress.

The PAS is the one that has an airbag that wraps around three sides of the head and is supposed to help prevent trauma from trees etc. It's the one I've listed, cheapest I can find it online is $730.
