The beacon park is operational as of last weekend. It's located near the ski patrol building and Chair 1 base at Heather Meadows. There are some obvious signs and the search area is between some groomed trails in a little treed zone.
Don't dig up the beacons, it's the BCA kind of park where you just probe them I think.
