Public avalanche observation database? was created by kceronsky
Is there a website or app that PNWers commonly use to track recent avalanches? I've looked at NWAC observations and Avanet but neither appear to be well used track and locate recent slides. In the past I've used JHavalanche's Event Map and found it very useful. Using the Event Map, I could determine what areas and specific elevations/aspects are of present concern. It also tracked slides from inbound avy control.

Besides NWAC discussion and observation page, is there another source people use?

Cheers,
Kate
