powder fever can lead to venturing into an area that has instability. one's judgement can get skewed for a number of different factors.

I wonder if that explains the hoards I encountered trying to ski the sleet on Sunday. I was thinking they all drove up for the wind but maybe a case of "powder fever". Be careful out there folks.
