Probably need Gary Brill's response to this one, but was it Ed who said, "you can't call yourself an avalanche expert until you've been in an avalanche"?

Adam calls him an expert in the first line, then goes onto say Bruce Tremper would be the first one to say he is not an expert, but a student of avalanche study.
