12/20 saw the remnants of this "mini-slide" ~4100 ft, ~10 AM, Phantom trees. On high avy days I think most folks avoid the big slopes and obvious gullies.
I was reminded of the reports of the slide at Crystal yesterday when I saw this slide. Not a huge slope, but enough of a terrain trap and plenty enough snow to bury a person.
Important reminder to watch out for the little "turd slides" along with the tree wells on these deep pow days.
