I am planning on attempting glacier peak on June 30-july 1st. After the historic heat wave, but still temps will be pretty hot. Camping at about 7k it is still supposed to be nearly 50 degrees as a low.
Is this a terrible idea? Should I just bail? Or is it at least worth checking out? It's a long way to walk with skis. From what I gather the glaciers aren't too crevasses and it isn't overly steep, so I don't think there is a big safety issue, but I'm open to hearing otherwise.
