Trying to put together a hut trip in late March. Any tips for huts within 7 or so hours of Seattle? Ideally a variety of terrain available with low-angled terrain possible in case of considerable avy danger.

Lost Trail ski area in Montana now has some yurts at the top of their alpine at 8,000 ft with the backside of the mountain, a burned out forest ridge and more for bc skiing. Check their website if you are interested.

Id check out the wheeler hut in Canada. There are usually plenty of last min spots and good touring in the vicinity

Thanks for the info all. I think we will end up doing something involving tents instead of huts after all, but your info is appreciated for future planning purposes.
