Hey aaasen, the blockquote is a formatting thing so you simply copy the text you want to quote (Ctrl+c or Cmd+c), paste it as plain text in the reply (Ctrl+Shift+v or Cmd+Shift+v), and hit the blockquote button (may need to highlight the text you want to show as quoted). I'll put it on the backlog to build a similar quoting capability as in the forum, but in all honesty, I think it'll be a low-priority.
