Broken links

Thanks for continuing to keep the site alive. I'm still recovering from the fact that the old site is gone -- I've regarded it as archival, to the point that I've cited it extensively in some of my work.

I am very glad to see how much has been retained!   A number of the links that I've checked are 404ed.

Is there a way to for-loop all the old threads by number and dump them into an archival sub-forum somewhere?  Even if their attachment to sub-forums is missing, they ought to be addressable by number?

As noted elsewhere, I have a (hopefully complete) scrape of TAY from July 2017 -- ping me if it might be useful to the archival/revival effort!

Hey Charlie, thanks for reaching out. I actually stated that I'd only set up old-to-new URL redirects for TR's and not the rest that ended up in the current "Forum" section. But hey, what wouldn't I do for my fellow TAY'ers. Give it a try, and please LMK if you see any other weirdness - I couldn't set up the redirect for some 370 topics (of 25K) - long story why.

Please note topic 19425 does not exist in the old TAY database so I'm afraid it might have been deleted before I migrated the content to the new site.

I'm not too surprised that Monika's thread didn't make it over. I know it had been hidden on and off. I don't know the reason for the decision, it may have been a family request; I'd always seen it as an incredible outpouring of loss from a tight-knit community.
