Possible Impact of COVID-19 on Backcountry

Ski areas and the major pass providers, i.e. Epic and Ikon, are making changes in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. This may well result in ski areas closing early. Many of us are also backcountry skiers because we don't NEED lifts. BUT if the areas close early, we will have a lot more backcountry folks breaking trails or following our trails.
