Site neglect?

Thanks for the post. I have activated this user. I am happy to activate any human user, and I do my best to respond promptly. The cases in which a signed up user is not approved reasonably quickly are usually ones in which I have not been notified that they need to be activated. There are around 24000 pending users. I have no way of knowing which ones are legitimate unless somebody tells me. If you are waiting for your user to be activated, please send me enough information through the contact form to identify the account (e.g. the username or email address used in the signup), and I will activate your user. If you signed up without sending a message to inform me, you user will languish indefinitely. If you meet folks that are waiting for their TAY account to be activated, it would be a service to the community to send their info in.

I'm sorry the sign-up process is so clumsy.
