Looking to cruise up north next week. Hoping for a weather window to check out Newberry Caldera.
Looking to ski in the 3 miles from Ten Mile Sno-Park.
Snow camping and and see what happens...
Anyone head in there during the middle of winter?

I have skied there and it is steep on the north faces. These slopes make for an incredible run. However, I would be very careful about the stablity of those slopes, especially after the record dumps we got this week.
The skiing is great, but there is another potential for frustration. When I skied it there were a group of skiers with a snowmobile. It is a long climb up that road to the summit. The snomo skiers lapped us 3 times in the time it took us to summit.... Just saying.
