Nice to get another solid 15" of snow last night.  We believe that will make some sort of Alpental opening possible very soon but we still need the groomers to evaluate creek crossings and key location coverage.  That will include some avalanche hazard investigation and mitigation for sure, and by now you all know what that means.  As of this morning winter uphill travel rules apply.  Alpental terrain, including Back Bowls are now closed to all uphill users unless the lifts are OPEN for customers, AND in that case you must make contact with Patrol before beginning to climb.  We definitely do our best to accommodate your desired tour but there will be times when the answer will have to be no.
