Quite the craftsmanship. The woodworking reminds me of the "Alone in the Wilderness"

So first you need an ax, a couple of wooden wedges, a plane, an awl, and a chisel. Next go chop a tree down and before you know it, you have a pair of competitive top of the line skis. I was especially impressed with his skill with an ax! Talk about a "multi-tool! I wouldn't be surprised to find that he used that ax to shave and floss his teeth.

Man! This makes me want to try and build my own pair of skis!

I think I will probably add a little more tip and tail rocker.

As a garage ski maker, I watched this with my jaw dropped. Love his shop and ankle deep wood chips and corner fire. Thanks for the link, Kam!

If anyone ends up hacking together some wooden skis like this, I'd love to try and ski them. In my hiking boots of course.
