I started working at Fluke in 1991 when both Lowell and Steph worked there. Never worked with Lowell but I did with Stephanie. She was a highly regarded leader and a favorite amongst the staff. Recently, Fluke named their newly remodeled fitness center after her.

JP thanks for passing along the link, a wonderful article that I really enjoyed. Yet another great thing I love about being associated with the TAY community.

What a great article about an even greater person - thanks J. P. for sharing and thanks to you Lowell for all you do for NW Skiers.

The mountains give and the mountains take away, but at the end of the day,
I still believe they give more than they take.

Great article about Lowell and well deserved. Lowell's impressive NW mountain accomplishments are easy to appreciate. I think it is equally impressive to accomplish what he has and have the balanced life that Steph and Lowell have lived.

So wonderful to see tributes to this living legend named Lowell Skoog.  All too often our society glorifies those only after death.

Thank you Lowell for documenting your pioneering pursuits in our higher mountains and how much is possible when sliding through our higher terrain.  As I've shared before, you opened the door for some of my bigger wanders and I will always be grateful.

Cheers good man.

Trevor
