Beautiful photos. I don't fly that much, but whenever I do, and have a clear day over the Cascades, I find it hard to understand why most people close their window shades and look at their electronics instead.

Yep! I think they were an idea that Charles tried out, and never got a lot of traction. There's potential there to help everyone find better ski conditions, but its position at the bottom of the timeline makes it unlikely that anyone will ever see it!
