Found ski Alpental

Found a pink/purple kid's ski, around 150cm, melting out in some trees off chair 2 at Alpental today. Decided to bring it home and post about it, hoping it maybe belongs to somebody on here, rather than just leave it at the bottom when things are shut down. Let me know if you are/know the owner!

The Summit has an excellent electronic lost-and-found system. I would check in with them (and consider dropping it off at the Summit offices the next time you're up there).

What's the snowpack like up on Chair 2 these days? Is it almost all gone or does that not happen for a while?

I lost a super wide Liberty Double Helix in Breakover trees during a super dump in early March. Went back several times later in the season but still have not found it. I think it just kept getting buried by more snowfall. Not sure when I'll have a chance to go up and have a look again.

It was melting out quickly last week but coverage was still good. From the people at the lost and found, it sounds like the ski I found was from January 10th, so it managed to stay down there quite a while.
