Cinco de mayo...

The snow pack seems good enough to support a cinco de mayo at Alpy. Anybody in-the-know think they'll do it on Friday May 5th or would they do it on Saturday May 6th? Praying for sun and that a dog doesn't snatch my brat off the grill.

My hope is they'll spin on Cinco. But it sounds like they'll be open thru the 7th and possibly extend ops @ Central for another weekend.

Cinco de Mayo will fall on May 5 this year. Similarly, the Fourth of July for 2017 will be on July 4, 2017. And the Ides of March just happened to once again fall on March 15.
