Ha. My current beacon is a museum piece down here in Mt. Cook Village. Officially shamed into an upgrade.

Awesome visitor center, Mind blowing views aren't bad either.

I still use my 1985 Ortovox. I check it every year for strength. It works great and you can't beat analog for direction. I think it works better than my Tracker. But I don't recommend this, just me.
