Work is underway and progress is going well. Our crews are clearing snow and doing avalanche work Monday-Friday on both Chinook and Cayuse passes.

Cayuse Pass opened this afternoon but the road from there to Chinook is still closed, not only to cars but also bicycles and skiers. FYI

Crews are making good progress as they near the summit. We're still doing avalanche work. Ski cutting has produced some wet loose results that have buried the road in places. Not enough to slow down the equipment though
