"The most interesting storm of the week is lurking out at the end of next week on late Thursday or perhaps Friday. Forecast models are showing a rather large plume of moisture that will bring some heavy rains and potentially strong (but not super strong) winds to the lowlands and copious amounts of precipitation to the mountains. The key will be the snow level -- it looks like high mountain peaks could get 2 or more feet of snow, but the passes could be on the bubble. And of the snow level is too high, we'll have to worry about flooding. But if low enough, the ski resorts could take a major step toward opening. Could Friday the 13th be skier's lucky charm?"
