Although I doubt the value of targeting a national park a drone could be used to deliver a very dangerous device.  If they are capable of carrying a large SLR and professional quality lens then they are also capable of carrying 10 pounds of chemicals. 

That's not to say that everyone running around with a drone is a terrorist but why fly them where you know they're not allowed?

Unless they're domestic, and kids, and playing with toys, then we taze them.

It helps build confidence in our law enforcement.

... ignorance of the law is no excuse...

No one follows every law. Some choose to be more openly defiant of laws they disagree with than others. Breaking the law may incite change.

There is also the notion that physical interactions in law enforcement are more frequently excessive for the potential risk or crime. Does someone flying a drone around taking video of trees in a public place really need to be tazed?
