the east coast came through!

Thank you Jonathan Shefftz, who is sending me precisely what I needed: a post and base-plate replacement.

This experience has made me want to start a dynafit junkyard. I like the idea of keeping equipment alive as opposed to disposable (kinda like all the 50's cars down in Cuba). And old dynafit bindings fit the bill. Robust... but no more parts being made. So if you have the errant single or broke-down part, or even a pile of random dynafit parts that you don't want or need, don't throw 'em out, send them my way and I'll start a dynafit junkyard that can be scavenged as scavenging is needed...

I just figured it would be good karma that might help all of you to get "your" Mount Adams in good shape for my June visit, especially since "my" Mount Adams was already in such fine shape during the last three days of April:

Seriously though, I do have a well-stocked Dynafit spare parts bin, so feel free to give me a holler if you're ever in need of some obscure part for a discontinued model -- otherwise, Skimo Co FTW:

East coast rules! this year anyhow...
Hopefully the pics work their mojo for your visit Jonathan. Looks like some sweet late April turns in your neck of the woods (Adams).

Got the part, thanks. Spent some time last Friday on dynafit assemblage and mountage before heading out to ski (and bushwhack!).
I'll post more here later on my dyna-fiddling mis-adventures and logistics.
