Black Diamond issue recall on Whippets

I think the blank posting bug might have something to due with commas or quotation marks...

Thanks for the heads up, I just bought my GF a whippet that might fall into that range. I'll have to check for the notch.

very quick fix. fill out warranty claim, once verified under recall, provide picture of destroyed whippet (break pick and shaft), had a new one in 2 business days. (SLC-PDX) It was sent 2day UPS shipping.

I agree. Both my whippets were recalled and new ones sent almost immediately. BD did a great job of getting the "bad" off the market and got the "good" back on the market. I look forward to BD's improvement on the product.
