Did south side of middle a couple of weeks ago. Had a little ten foot carry over some lava to get back to Camp Lake. Might do S. Sister w. ridge (for something different than the s. side). Think there will plenty of snow but could be wrong.. Lots of snow at Bach..you can ski to Sunrise Lodge parking lot but that is a lot higher than Devils Lake lot..
Did South sister last Sunday. The Sun never came out in full, but other than that the snow was in good shape. It was about 20 -30 minutes of hiking before hitting snow, but once you hit snow its continuous from there.
