Bigger is better? was created by davidG
Been skiing mid 90's for a while.  Bumped up 1 or 2 this year for the Cham 97's cuz for me 5 point and stiffer with rocker seems right.  Keep thinkin of dialing back, though, cuz I like riding in the snow rather than on it ~ so what did I do?..  I just threw down on a pair of 105's   ???  Now I get to butter toast like the rest of you big dogs.. ~  but I don't even like toast!  At least I no longer have size envy.

But watch for the next big thing..  80 waisted, rockered spatulas  - you saw it here first.      ;)

I am in the same mode of thought having gone from flat 95s to rockered 105s.

Miss the sidecut and sink of the 95s, but still have the skis.

The 105s are different and maybe I am not used to them yet, or maybe I am simply old school.

Like the saying goes: "everyting old is new again." So you're probably right.

I just bought the Hagan "Y" Wai flow ski. Basically what you have described. And I rather enjoy them so far.
