Accesses existing and new terrain - several new runs to be cut this summer.
It sure would be nice if they cut a new East->Central crossover that started a lot higher -- the current crossover is annoying for snowboarders. They would have to add a new bridge over the creek, so it might not be in the cards. They will also have to avoid destroying the ancient "nordic pass backcountry route" as I think the Forest Service Special Use Permit has some provision about preserving that.
It looks to be a great addition for family friendly skiing -- I hope to ski there with grand children at some point.
