Sven and Glenn Tele Race at Stevens March 15,16

Always a fun weekend with awards party and lots of prizes on Sunday. Saturday's classic race is open to all gear - tele, alpine or snowboard. See if you can beat your buddies on the same gear! (or an old guy like me on alpine, bet ya can't). Glenn was one of the early telemarkin' locals at Stevens back in the days of "tennis shoes and toothpicks". He ran the Scottish Lakes High Camp for the Starks back then. Sven was one of the finest skiers most of us ever saw. He ran the ski school and took over as race chairman from me in the late 80's. Sven was a national caliber tele racer, brought the nationals here and loved the "classic" style of race. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!
