True, but it's awfully hard to apply to free skiing other than the fact that fast runs often do score well.

... but if you choose to participate or cheer for those in primarily judged events, then no whining when the judges decide differently than your reading of the run.

LOL.

I get all the reasons (LCD, slides over rocks, no huckfests). It's all good. We are just not big fans of the overall IFSA scene (lots of kids, very "select" sports like). We are not out there for a social scene, rather always the skiing. So when that gets compromised, it leaves a bad taste.

As for judging, agreed........NO WHINING. LOL. Hence, I tried to keep it to minimum and leave it up to the viewer but when asked got way too specific. I am Level III and have been for 26 years. So I tend to be overly opinionated. HAHA.

Griff, these sports with kids are a great way for the kids to get some needed disipline about the sports they have interest in. Whether it's running gates, nordic jumping, xc racing, or free skiing, these kids end up with an unmatched ability to ski at a superb standard for life.
