Parking requirements in Blewett Pass? was created by Rusty Knees
Anybody know which parking permits I need to buy to safely park near Blewet Pass? Taking a snow shoe group up there tomorrow. We'll stay out of the skin track ;)

There's parking in pullouts (2, sometimes 3 exist) just north of the pass, PAST the snowparks when driving from the westerlands. These access the Tronsen Meadows nonmotorized area, where you probably want to go anyways. Pullouts are not a snowpark and no permit needed. BUT these are limited capacity. Each pullout has room for perhaps 3-5 cars. More info

Parking in the actual snoparks there is no fun even if you do have a permit. Unless you ENJOY having a coating of atomized 2stroke oil in your lungs to start out your aerobic activity day.

You used to be able to park right on the summit in another huge pullout by the relay and webcam but that's now signed 10 minute.

What Wolfs said. Forget the Sno-Parks at the pass and carry on ~1/2 mile over. Just past a steep cut-bank on your right is a plow-out with another about 100 yards down. Both access old logging roads in the Tronsen non-motorized area. Lots of opportunities, even for snowshoers. ;) Your respect for ski trails is appreciated.
