We have used garden netting on our skins for years as it makes separating the skins much easier. You can stop by Home Depot or Lowe's and visit their garden department. Find the garden netting which is on rolls with different colors. The rolls are 36” and 48”wide, and they will cut off a yard for $1. At home, cut the netting for half the length of the skin and use a lighter to singe the four sides. We have used this for years. It is light weight and you can put in your jacket pocket or in your pack top while skiing
