Vipec 12 binding demo @ next adventure, Portland was created by christoph benells
Next adventure has a Scott rock air 183 ski setup with the new vipec 12 binding for demo for 35$. A very awesome setup, you must bring your own boots with tech fittings. Comes with bd glide lite skins.

Those sound great! I heard that the toe actually releases; it's one of the only tech bindings out there that do that. I'll have to get to Next and give those a try.

I witnessed multiple toe pre-releases by someone who was skinning with Vipecs in a vertfest race.
I hope it was user error - if not, it doesn't instill confidence in the system.

the vipec has an adjustable toe pin- without the pin adjusted correctly it will pre release or not release properly.
also, you can lock out the toe for skinning...

It also has adjustable din settings. Maybe his din setting was too low? Excited to see all the new innovation in tech bindings.
