This is a hilarious investigation (I use that term broadly) with hidden smoke shack cameras and bozo's bouncing into each other.  I don't use resorts much and thank goodness bozo's like the two featured here don't use the back country much.

Yeah, no one smokes pot in the BC in WA ::)

Pot, and smoke shacks at/near ski areas, are integral to the skiing experience for many, many people. As much a part of the experience, if not more so, than the "craft" beers that so many frequently and proudly proclaim that they drink apres ski. These clowns with their hidden cameras are exposing (for sensational effect) something that has been done for decades. It's harmless and lots of fun. Fkn' @55holes...

This is ridiculous. I don't even smoke pot and I'm offended by the stupidity of this article. I hope my fellow bc skiers and snowboarders on here don't agree with these poorly stated shenanigans. Get real Inside Edition.

Ha! What a complete load of $hit this hackjob of an article is. They take one example of two idiots going over the top (and lets face it, they were probably running in to things sober also) and paint with a very broad brush. Not to mention the hypocrisy here is outstanding, as ski areas sell alcohol all over the mountain. I have never witnessed a skier/boarder doing anything more dangerous while smoking weed, if anything many are more calm and aware. On the other hand, I'm sure every single one of us can recount multiple incidents of people acting like morons after a few beers on the slope. Just another example of crap media pursuing their own stupid campaign of misinformation in an attempt to grab a headline.

Reading the thread on TGR about this has been the highlight of my morning:

Speaking of secret smoke shacks on the mountain, there are several old gondy cabins scattered around the woods of Big Sky/Moonlight Basin. Patrol was more than happy to lead us on a tour of them last weekend ;)
