Rando not yet an Olympic sport was created by androolus
Some silly NBC sports announcer was talking about how he didn't have the balls to be a downhill ski racer. So he said that he would do better as an uphill ski racer. Didn't look like he had the lungs for rando racing to me though.

I wonder if rando racing will ever be an olympic sport.

I think the ISMF is trying for demo status in 2022.

Which makes me wonder if it would be better to campaign to get FIS to take over the governance?

Don't hold your breath. They were talking about it being a demonstration sport in Torino and Whistler, too.

Maybe instead of FIS support we need a soda/fast food/energy drink sponsor to take an interest?

I think eating a McRib would be more exciting than watching a rando race.
