The toe-piece uses the same pattern as the older dynafit toe-piece (non-radical).
For the heel piece, I first mounted the toe-piece using the dynafit template. covered the heel area of the ski with painters tape. Placed the boot in the toe-piece and inserted the heel piece in the boot and placed the 6mm dynafit shim between the boot heel and the heel-piece and eyeballed the heel piece on straight and drew circles with a blue sharpie inside the mounting holes and outlined the edges of the heel-piece. I then used a black pen to eyeball mark where I thought the screw centers should be. I eyeballed this several times before center-punching, drilling, tapping and mounting. The outlines around the outside of the binding were helpful in eyeballing the position correctly.
Also, since the heel-piece has zero fore-aft adjustment, be sure to place the heel-piece on the ski in the proposed position with it in the rotated position and boot heel against the ski and place the ski on two saw horses and flex ski to ensure the boot will clear the heel piece without scraping. I failed to perform this test and had to fill the holes with J-B-Weld and redrill / remount 2mm further back to avoid interference when used in "flat ski" mode.
