The forest service rangers at Shasta are reporting basically a base of 0 for the Avalanche gulch route. The only white stuff on the mtn is in the form of glaciers on the north side. In the neighboring lower Sacramento valley, there was no precip for 52 days. That set some sort of record. Just wanted to let you guys know.
