Tow Rope for Skimo Racing and Ski Touring

I'd heard about using tow ropes for team racing, but nowhere could I find an explanation of their use or how to make one.

We used these things when adventure racing. Tie kayaks with bungee. Tie mountains bikes with retractable dog leashes attached to the underneath of the saddle with a loop of flexi tubing to loop over the stem of person getting pulled. Worked a charm.

Used these for foot sections, they work for any kind of foot towing but its kind of demoralizing and ego busting to be on the end of it.
