Great event! I thought Lowell and Martin did an awesome job in the first part. Unfortunately, while I saw most of the show, I had to miss the last part due to an unexpected family issue.
One thing that I really liked was the fact that Martin acknowledged the miss on snowboard-related notes. There is a relatively easy way to address this - I've seen other books have a website with additional information post print. I guess it could even be done on Pro Ski's website. For starters, there might be a list of several snowboard-friendly tours in each region. Then, as time permits, a sentence or two might be added to each route for eventual full coverage. These might be added in the second print edition
Which might even have this in a table, etc.
Cheers
Ivo

Now that the guidebook has been released, I've republished my historical essay on alpenglow.org here:
www.alpenglow.org/skiing/backcountry-renaissance/index.html
The online version includes more photographs than the printed version was able to include. You can enlarge any of the photos on the webpage by clicking on it.
Credit and big thanks for the photographs go to:
- Bob and Ira Spring families
- Othello Phil Dickert family
- UW Special Collections
- Jens Kieler
- Carl Skoog
- Kaj Bune
