E-commerce is now making the price of a daily lift ticket cheaper. If you buy the daily ticket online in advance, you can get a better deal. The glitch is, not all ski areas are participating. Down here in the Sierra, a fair amount of ski areas are giving the lower prices. I checked for the PNW, and it doesn't look like the ski areas are doing it. In Spokane, there are some places that are. I bought a $56 ticket for $32, in the Tahoe area. Liftopia is based out of San Francisco.

Washington ski deals
eg, 49N is in. Lots of blackout dates, though. Could be ok, when building a road trip..
As differentiated from the Shell Ticket deal, these guys seem like airline ticket resellers - a sometime in the future thing.. again, ok for planners / travelers, maybe.
